LESSON 7 - Understanding Active Status

Welcome to the second half of this training! You are doing great! In part 1 we talked a lot about how to check things off that Revitalize tracker (remember, you should be aiming to complete it 5/7 days a week!) and focused on helping you make those connections and have those conversations that should help you to find 3-5 new challengers a month. Now we are going to dig a little bit deeper into some of the business side of things that you need to know to really lock in Business Starter consistently each and every month and be building toward Team Builder on the Leadership Ladder!


There are no volume or sales minimums to have a coach account, as you all know. There is just that $15/month business service fee. But having a coach account is different than being considered an "ACTIVE COACH". To qualify for rank advancements and things like Success Club you need to be an active coach. How do you get ACTIVE? I'm glad you asked...

ACTIVE STATUS
To be an active coach you need 50PV (personal volume) in a 5 week period (if it's easier, just think in a month). You can get PV by orders you place yourself (like your own fitness programs, boosts, shakeology, etc) or orders placed by customers through you (like if someone orders a challenge pack or shakeology). If you are finding 3-5 new challengers a month, every month, you should have no trouble staying active! It's when coaches stop making Success Club a priority that their active status can start to be in danger.

In the photo above you can see all the different combinations of popular items that equal 50PV or more. This can help you know what to buy for yourself if you want to place an order yourself to get active. Or...  if you are not in a position to purchase things for yourself you need to make a sale to get active. Start sending out messages. Ask a friend or family member to join you next month. Get out there and set someone up for success. The easiest way is to sell them a challenge pack, but the above products and combinations will work as well!

As you advance through the pay ranks as a coach your PV required to remain "active" goes up. So as a new coach and an Emerald ranked coach you need 50PV every 5 weeks. When you advance to Ruby you need to have 75PV every 5 weeks. As a Diamond coach you need 100PV every 5 weeks. And as a Star Diamond coach (which I know you will one day get to! You have what it takes!) you will need 200PV every 5 weeks. Here's a quick cheat sheet... 


VOLUME REQUIREMENT FOR SUCCESS CLUB
There is a different volume requirement for coaches (no matter their rank) to be able to qualify for Success Club. You learned this in New Coach Training but I want to go over it again because it's important and I want you to understand it well. 

in this screenshot the coach does not have enough points to qualify for the month yet and they also do NOT have the 90HDPV fulfilled. See? This chart can be found when you log into your Coach Online Office and it is in the center of your home page. 

To qualify for Success Club (which you need to do to be a Business Starter and every other leadership rung on the ladder) you must have 90HDPV each month. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???
It means that you as a coach need to be enrolled in Home Direct for a product (or products) work 90PV or more. (Home Direct = "HD" Personal Volume= "PV") The EASIEST way that I advise all my coaches to fulfill this requirement is by keeping your Shakeology Home Direct turned on. When you bought your first challenge pack you were enrolled in Home Direct with means a new shipment of Shakeology will be sent to you each month. Shakeology is worth 90PV (HANDY!) so by just leaving that alone and getting your new shipment of Shakeology each month, you will fulfill this requirement and never have to worry about it!

How do you know if you've fulfilled this requirement each month? When your HD order worth 90PV or more goes through, your Success Club qualification chart will update to say YES. See the graphic below. This is an easy way you can check each month to make sure you have what you need to qualify for Success Club.


There are other products you can get on HD as well that would fulfill this such as the Shakeology Boosts and Beachbody Performance Line. But you would need to make sure that what you have adds up to 90PV or more and that you have it set to Home Direct.

A big mistake I see a lot of new coaches make is to turn off their Home Direct on their Shakeology because they don't want to spend that money each month or because they are not using up their bag quickly enough.

Here are the problems with that: 


1. One of your vital behaviors is being a product of the product. Shakeology is meant to be taken every day. The bag sizes are 1 month supplies. So if you are drinking it every day like you should, you should never have a surplus.

2. I understand being afraid of those auto-charges and wanting to control when I order. But if you want to take your business seriously you are going to have to just know that your order comes out on X date and make sure you budget accordingly. Consider it like a business expense. And use that to fuel you to make sure you find 3-5 new challengers a month so that your commission always cover the cost of your Shakeology and more!

I've seen so many coaches work SO HARD to find their 3-5 challengers only to NOT qualify for Success Club because they had turned off their Shakeology HD. It's so sad and such a silly mistake. Don't make it. Make sure you are being a product of the product and leave your HD turned on so you never have to worry about missing this requirement.

Watch this awesome training video from Top 10 Coach Brittany Legette explaining active/inactive status. Then go into your COO and figure out if you are an active coach! Also, make sure you have something on HD that adds up to 90PV or more each month. If you turned your HD off, now is a good time to turn it back on!
